We'll test out the effectiveness against the guards, at least. I'm interested to see if it takes the shape of someone familiar. What do you think my 'death price' would be, if I die and come back? Everyone seems to have something.

Hmmm. [ He considers both options. He'd rather lose his eyes, even if he's not doing anything particularly detailed lately. ] Probably the hands, then.

Why are you sure I'll come back?

[He knows it has to be something to do with allowing Gabriel to retain detailed control, the losses are usually linked to a person's fears and vulnerabilities.]

Nobody who has willingly killed themselves has remained dead.

Nobody has? [ He missed that. ] I knew there was a higher likelihood of return for people trying experiments, but all of them?

I can't decide whether that's a relief, or a cruel trick. [ The slight smile on his face indicates the former. ]

All permanent deaths have been due to murder, anomaly, or exposure.

[At least that's his current working theory, there's always the danger he's overlooked that critical one.]

[ Sylar nods. So at least he could expect to come back. Despite his occasional impulses to die, he liked existing and was pretty determined to continue doing so.

He doesn't have anything else to ask or add, so he just hefts his pack onto his back and looks towards Sherlock. ]
