[He didn't actually get an answer (not unexpected), but he can pretend like he did.]
so, that was interesting i'm just gonna stay the hell away from you but i'm here to chat whenever you want, pal
[House never actually had plans to meet up with Sylar, and he doesn't particularly like traveling with more than one other person. So. This was sort of already his plan. He can make it sound damning, though. And hope Sylar doesn't go and call his bluff.]
[ It's a lucky thing this is text, because Sylar immediately forgets this innocent (if extremely annoyed) persona he's trying to cultivate and wants to demand what House was told. Who could House be messaging privately right now? Should he do damage control? But he catches himself with the realization that House almost certainly would've posted it up for the world to see, if he'd gotten anything conclusive. He's probably safe, for now. ]
Aw, you were going to come meet me before? How sweet. Did she actually get back to you with something? Will you tell me what she said?
I'm glad we can still chat, though. All of us should be focusing on solving these problems, not stupid internal struggles. I expect we're going to have to know how this place works back and forth if we're going to want to have any sort of control over it.
"@ADMIN did @godsend murder suresh? you're supposed to see everything why don't you actually stop people getting killed before it happens?"
"Law enforcement has been contacted regarding identification of a crime."
[So he's twisting the Admin's words there, but that's the general gist of it. And it still doesn't technically implicate the other man. It could be referring to past crimes... like the Joker. But he's not going to just tell Sylar that she didn't tell him anything. That would be losing. And he does hate to lose.]
so, you know? that little date i had planned is going on hold shame i was planning on getting some schnapps from elric we could've had fun! while solving problems together like one big happy family
[ Well, damn. That's definitely a response. But House could be lying, easily, and it really doesn't matter. Whatever happens from here, House doesn't have any proof. And 'law enforcement' clearly doesn't exist. And now he knows the Admin won't just blab to curious inquiries. Good. ]
Wow, you really didn't hold back.
It's too bad. But if you're still willing to work together remotely, I am, too. I'm not under any illusion we're going to escape from here, but I'd like to at least know what's going on.
[What's irritating here is that the guy isn't fazed. This would be easier over voice or video. He can't actually read many tells here when Sylar's not tripping over his own lies like their first chat.]
and that was just the first part of the conversation! i think the spiderbots captured your best side, personally
good for you way to be a team player for part of the team, anyway the least-annoying part of the team
Do you think it's the spiderbots that are taking video? I always figured the nanites in our systems allowed for recording essentially through our eyes, and perhaps just about anywhere. Some of the videos in the Data app seem like that.
kid, if you think i'd waste good blackmail material on some moral crusade you really don't know me talk to rhysie i sat on info for half month still sitting on juicy deets from a few different people i'll use it when i need something from you i don't need anything from you right now
if evie's looking out of our eyes she's doing a piss poor job of actually making use of that ability i'm not that worried
[He's actually kind of worried. Thank you for the additional dose of paranoia, Sylar.]
You should know, in that case- you don't need to blackmail me. You're one of the people actually making some progress in this place. I'll help you with what you want, even if you're a pain in the ass about it. And I'm sure you won't believe me here, but just for the record? You have nothing to fear from me.
Evie has a lot of us to watch all by her lonesome. I'm still worried.
[He doesn't believe that, no, not when he's antagonizing this guy as much as he is. But... he does have a task if Sylar's looking for something to do and willing to be useful. Which, like the Joker, he seems to be. For the moment, anyway. He's more level than the Joker, at least. House switches briefly to video.]
You wanna help? Look for these. [Sylar will receive a view of one of the ragdolls with its face scribbled out.] You know what the Prophet eye symbol looks like, right? Go to the places around town with that symbol and break through the wall, draw the symbol on the mirrors, or try anything else weird you can think of to find one of the ragdolls. Building 16 on my map is a likely candidate, too. No eye symbol, but there's something weird going on with the window up there. I took down the boards more than a month ago. Light filters weird through them. Try drawing the Eye Symbol around a few places in there.
Forget about them watching us. We can't stop it. It's pointless to think about it.
((ooc: House is referring to Building 15 on the OOC map.))
[ Finally, he was getting somewhere. He sticks with text, because that's been serving him in this conversation so far. ]
Yeah, that was the conclusion I reached, as well. There's nothing we can do about them watching. At least not now.
It keeps coming back to the Prophet junk, doesn't it? You think those ragdolls were Sam's? She seems to be the most likely candidate to be this 'Prophet'.
I'll do what I can to find more of these ragdolls. What did its face look like before? It had the eye symbol on it?
Sure. I'm just trying to pick up what clues I can for it. Maybe that'd give us a better indication as to where these things are or how many of them we have to find.
Anyway, I'm heading back to the hospital, and I'll try to get up to Building 16 from there.
not sure sam's gonna give us much here hoodie found one of dolls behind a mirror in a house sam's got no relation to as far as we know and unless she was running around the apartment complex here there's no connection to the ones we found in here, either i'm in contact with hange they're searching deeper into the tunnels and sending back regular videos and messages might get some more clues there that i can pass on

[And he'll go do just that. Sorry, Sylar. Did you not think he'd call your bluff?]

[ He is so very not bothered. Can you see how much this doesn't bother him? ]
