[ He's trying to tamp it down, but he's worried about the static thing. ]

I promise, I don't feel any different at all, and you'll see for yourself when we meet that there's nothing wrong. It's the tablets, not me.

[ He looks away from the tablet, supposedly to look through his pack. ]

Yeah. I'm not expecting static-everything when we see each other again. Just- the AR- the hallucinations. They don't always discern between the real and the digital.

[ He heaves a thoughtful sigh before looking back at the static-ball that is Al's face right now. ]

Just means we've got to get control of the nanites before anything permanent happens.

[He has his moments of doubt, but he knows they've made progress already and he's not the sort of person to give up.]
