It's fine. Everything's working again. But it does mean that actually happened, on some level. I was really expecting it to be a hallucination.

[ It was an unfortunate pair-up, that was for sure. Sylar didn't want to see Vanitas vulnerable and brainwashed either, honestly. He sort of wished he never found out what the kid looked like. ]

Because I tried it your way for a long time, and all it did was trap me in my own isolated hell. I don't want to see that happen to one of the few people I can tolerate.

[ He feels mixed about that. He's normal here. He's not in constant pain and he may even count as whole. He also misses Ventus. He hates him, wants to end him, but also misses the link they shared. It meant there was always something even during the most miserable of times.
